About the AAUW Chillicothe Branch

Having been formed in February 1951, we are proud to celebrate our 59th anniversary as a branch of the American Association of University Women. The continuous focus of the group has been the active involvement of it’s members in projects which benefit our local community. Over the years we have become identified in the community by our Annual Used Book Sale with proceeds from this public event providing scholarships for women to attend Ohio University-Chillicothe and for middle school girls to attend Be WISE (Women in Science Education) Math-Science Summer Camp. Education matters!
